Pacific Grove voters will decide on Measure M in November. If Measure M passes, all short-term rentals outside of the coastal zone will be prohibited. We MUST defeat Measure M. MCVRA is working closely with Pacific Grove neighborhood groups to do just that. Click here to learn the facts on Measure M.

This is important to short-term rental owners everywhere in Monterey County. Decision makers are watching to see the public sentiment in Pacific Grove. This WILL affect our ability to get fair regulation in other areas of the County.

MCVRA has created a political action committee, MCVRA PAC, to help fund the costs of defeating Measure M. Direct mail, advertising, and polling are expensive. Expedia/HomeAway has committed $20,000. Two property management companies have committed $10,000 each. And MCVRA has committed another $10,000. But we need more. The powerful hotel industry and its surrogates, the Monterey County Hospitality Association and the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce, support Measure M. WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Please donate as much as you can. Your right to rent your home on a short-term basis is at stake!
